John Gakuo, Town Clerk Nairobi, says of the intiative:

The City Council of Nairobi is going through a momentous period, where it is faced with the challenge of providing quality services and amenities to the fast growing population. The new benches installed with the help of ENG Kenya Limited will provide comfort to our citizens and it also fits perfectly well within the city's beautification programme."
He added, "Our initial placing of a few benches as a pilot project some six months ago received such overwhelming support sending a strong signal that the city residents were appreciative and indeed yearning for more of the same."
Sandeep Nehra, Chief Operating Officer, ENG Kenya says:
