Ambassador of Germany visits Bahrain TRA

The meeting focused on attracting inward investments for the kingdom and maximising investment opportunities between both countries.

Alan Horne said:

'Both the Ambassador and TRA agree that the liberalization of the telecommunications market is a vital enabler for economic growth for any country'.

They further discussed the importance of the diverse and reliable international links, which are required to attract foreign investors.

HE Dr. Hubert Lang stated: 'An effective competitive telecommunications sector, following international best practice and prices, will support foreign investors using Bahrain as a regional hub.'

Ambassador Lang went on to praise Bahrain for its healthy environment where the Policies of the Kingdom and the establishment of TRA had resulted in competitive choices being offered to both residential and business consumers of telecommunications services.

The Ambassador will be presenting his analysis of the telecommunications services to industrialists at a Chamber of Commerce meeting in Germany.
