Including ADAC's customer service orientation training which started in June, the full programme lasted three months with the ambassadors being deployed across the airport in a variety of roles. These roles ranged from providing information to travellers about the airport and Abu Dhabi and offering general assistance to passengers, to helping dispatch planes and checking in passengers.
"The Student Ambassador Programme is a great way for students to gain invaluable work experience in the dynamic business environment that an airport provides. Customer Service is a priority for ADAC at its airports and the students were able to help deliver on our commitment to the airport users to make it easy to travel,"
said H.E. Khalifa Al Mazrouei, Chairman and Managing Director of ADAC.
"ADAC is pleased to play its part in helping developing the students and provide valuable experience in how to deal with people, and what it is like to be part of an organization that is focused on meeting customer needs," added Mazrouei.
At the recent ceremony, held at the airport in honor of the ambassadors, three students were highlighted for their extra levels of dedication and their contribution to the programme. The three students, Hamda Al Mughairy, Rashed Salem Al Qubaisi, and Abdul Rabb Abdullah were each presented with an Outstanding Student Ambassador Award for their exemplary performance over the three month period.
