Etisalat employee accused of embezzlement

A senior employee at Etisalat responsible for making salary payments to the staff allegedly misappropriated Dhs27m ($7.4m) from the company account, Khaleej Times has reported. The amount has been retrieved from her bank account and the woman, who was forced to resign, has been referred to the public prosecution after the completion of an internal investigation.
