  • PRESS RELEASE

Liz Claiborne entered the national capital through it's first-ever standalone concept store located in Abu Dhabi Mall.

The highly adored brand has been introduced in the region by MAF Fashion, a subsidiary of Majid Al Futtaim Group.

Jeremy Johnston, CEO, MAF Fashion, said: "We are very proud to introduce Liz Claiborne to the fashion-conscious community in the city. We are pleased to be opening in one of Abu Dhabi's exceptional fashion districts which values high quality fashion and enjoys high traffic the year round.

"Our strategy has always been to ensure that the brand gets closer to its fans across the region. Our newest store will therefore allow Abu Dhabi shoppers to explore some of our elegant collections closer to their homes,"

he added.

Located on the first level of the mall and covering a floor area of over 211 square metres, the store features the brand's hottest new autumn season styles in its Liz Missy (regular sizes) and Liz Woman (large sizes) range along with handbags, wallets and other accessories.

The store features the Liz Claiborne Fall 2008 collection which sees the return of 'classic style' inspired by the late 50's and early 60's. Key looks include ladylike shift-dresses and jackets, wide leg pants, full and pencil skirts, textural knits and blazers. The range at the store is carefully selected, keeping in mind the Middle Eastern climates and reflecting the taste and traditions of the women in the region.
