The Sharjah-based carrier, which has provided direct flights to Iran since 2006, currently offers seven flights per week to Iran, including three flights per week to Tehran and four to Shiraz.

Air Arabia's new sales shop is located at: No.44 Esfandiar Blv, Vali-Asr St, Tehran. It will offer enhanced customer services, including both ticket sales and visa services.

By providing non-stop services to Tehran, the capital of Iran, and Shiraz, the country's technology and tourism hub, Air Arabia serves as a vital transportation link between the two countries, promoting increased tourism and trade between the Gulf and Iran. In the first six months of 2008, Air Arabia enjoyed a collective load factor on the two routes in excess of 82%, demonstrating the high level of demand for travel to and from Iran.

'The opening of our dedicated sales shop in Tehran reflects the commitment and importance we place on the Iranian market,' said AK Nizar, Head of Commercial Department, Air Arabia.

'With flights to both Shiraz and Tehran, Air Arabia serves both the commercial and technology centres of Iran, and provides the people of those cities with complete access to our comprehensive Middle East destination network, our high quality of service and our competitively priced fares.'

He added: 'The new sales shop, which is centrally located in Tehran, will provide our customers with unique and personalised services including ticket sales and visa assistance and will keep them posted with the latest value-for-money promotions that they have come to expect from Air Arabia.'
