Audi Middle East announces the appointment of Mr. Anders Brocknaes as the new General Manager for Sales at Audi Middle East.

The 33-year old Swedish national, who joined Audi Middle East as Senior Product & Price Manager in 2006, was recently promoted to head the sales division of the company based on his extensive knowledge of the region and its dynamics, as well as drawing on his experience at the head office of the German premium car manufacturer.

Following his studies of business administration in the USA, Anders Brocknaes joined major Swedish logistics provider Lagertrans AB before taking a position as Dealer Account Manager at Ford Credit, Sweden. He later joined Ford Motor Company in Cologne, Germany, as a specialist for pricing and European revenue management in 2002 and then moved to AUDI AG in 2004, where he was responsible for price planning for Japan and France as well as the Q7 and R8 model lines.

Mr. Brocknaes said on his appointment:
"Despite the recent growth that the company has been experiencing, the challenge for Audi Sales is an enormous one - we want to reach annual sales of 10,000 units by 2012. We are committed to our partners and customers, making Audi even more of a lighthouse brand in the region."
