Huawei Technologies appoints Assistant President for the Middle East

Huawei Technologies has announced the appointment of Ihab Ghattas as Assistant President for its Middle East operations, based out of Huawei's regional headquarters in Dubai.
During his previous assignment as Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) with Huawei Technologies, Ihab was responsible for establishing and developing key relationships with operators across the MENA region, as well as promoting and introducing Huawei's Enterprise Solutions to businesses outside of the telecommunications arena. Prior to joining Huawei, Ihab spent most of his career with Etisalat, a leading operator in the MENA region.
Following his appointment Ihab said, "The MENA telecoms industry has been experiencing radical growth attracting significant attention and investments in the last few years and is poised to become the key telecoms market of the world. I am pleased to be entrusted with the opportunity of fulfilling Huawei's commitment to meet customers' demands and help them realize potential business growth."
