  • United Arab Emirates: Thursday, September 11 - 2008 at 13:46
  • PRESS RELEASE

Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) announced the extension of working hours in the Main Licensing Center of RTA Licensing Agency during the holy month of Ramadan.

Working time has now been split into two sessions; the morning session starts from 9am up to 2pm, and the evening session starts from 8.30pm up to 10.30pm.

It was reported by Ahmed Bahrouzian, CEO of RTA Licensing Agency, that, the decision to extend the working hours in the Main Center of the Agency aims to serve the public through providing ample time to have their transactions processed. This is particularly important when we take into consideration that working conditions may not enable some customers to process their applications during daytime, so the decision offers them extended time to process their transactions.

"This measure is temporary as it is restricted to the month of Ramadan only. Working hours will revert back to normal timings from 07.30am to 2.30pm after the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

This service, as well as other services, is offered in the context of promoting the services rendered by RTA to customers and improve them to the best possible levels.

It adds to the quality services offered by the RTA to the community with a view to realizing the mission & strategic goals of the RTA at all levels, boost quality and promote customer service.
