- PRESS RELEASE
OKI Printing Solutions, the leader in the global colour printing market, unveiled its new colour printer the C3600, specifically designed to have one of the smallest footprints in its class, making it an ideal desktop solution for offices where space is at a premium.
Although the C3600 is compact in size, its performance is impressive, offering users professional quality printing of up to 20 pages per minute (ppm), and a competitive first time to print of 10 seconds for mono printing and 12 seconds for colour documents.
"The C3600 is a compact, reliable A4 colour printer and is ideal for colour desktop printing in busy office environments." said John Ross, general manager, Middle East, India and North East Africa for OKI Printing Solutions.
"Thanks to a combination of large memory, fast processor speed, PCL and PostScript capability, and our unique single-pass digital LED technology, the C3600 provides a level of performance that would usually be expected from a larger workgroup printer."
The exceptional colour print quality for the C3600 allows businesses to be more creative with their in-house printing, reducing the need to outsource.
With its versatile media handling ability the C3600 meets a range of business colour printing needs, from business cards to A4 flyers, and is even able to print up to 1.2m banners - making it ideal for professionals who regularly print timesheets, charts and even posters up to 203gsm with the aid of in-the-box utilities such as Template Manager 3.0.
For all businesses, the management and control of printing costs is a key consideration.
The C3600 is equipped with separate high capacity toners and drums which enhance the professional performance of the printer allowing components to be individually replaced when needed, reducing toner wastage and saving money.
In addition, the C3600 benefits from a range of applications for managing the use of colour printing, including Print Control which enables the user to track printer usage, control costs and limit the use of colour printing, and PrintSuperVision which monitors, reports and manages printers via a standard web browser.
"The printer management applications, together with the separate toners and drums help all businesses to manage printing costs and improve efficiency without compromising on the performance of the printer or the quality of the printed documents." added Ross.
