This event will witness new participation from some of the largest real estate companies in the region who have reserved their spaces in the biggest specialized real estate exhibition in the emirate of Sharjah.

In its second year running, the exhibition will also witness an increase of 20% in area size versus last year; a factor which can be directly attributed to the great success of the first exhibition according to Abdullah Al Taha, the Emirates Vision Events Management executive director.

Al Taha pointed out that the good reputation and great numbers of participants achieved in the Acres Middle East debut have encouraged many companies to join the exhibition for its second session. He noted that the wide variety of participants in the first session coming from real estate development and investment companies, financing companies and brokers both in and out of the UAE has clearly contributed to the increase in exhibition area and number of exhibitors.

He appreciated the efforts exerted by Emirates Vision Events Management to promote the exhibition since the end of the first session in 2007. The company has not satisfied itself with internal marketing alone but has extended its efforts outside the UAE through field visits to targeted companies in other countries. These visits have covered GCC countries, Egypt, Syria and Russia. Al Taha revealed that the biggest real estate companies have already reserved more than 90% of the exhibition area. He admitted it could not be denied that the flourishing real estate market in the Middle East region has played an assisting role in increasing participation in the exhibition.

The success and continuity of this exhibition can be linked to many factors such as the location and the outstanding position of the UAE and Sharjah in particular. This is especially true with regards to the exhibition industry due to Sharjah's historic experience in this field. Al Taha added that, in addition to this, Sharjah boasts the Sharjah Expo Center, the most modern exhibition center in the region equipped to host large events with strong leadership having a clear strategy and work vision, which has offered and is still offering all facilities for the success of this big event.

Other reasons include the huge real estate activity in the UAE and Sharjah, the other GCC countries and the Middle East region where the number of organized exhibitions is limited and therefore not in proportion to the real estate activity in the region. Studies have proved that the exhibition will represent an opportunity for exhibitors from within and outside the UAE to launch their projects and ideas. It will also provide an opportunity for participants and visitors to make various transactions with each other. This exhibition is organized by national youths who have wide organizational and marketing experience and creativity.
