Choithram fixes prices on 17 items

Choithram Supermarkets in the UAE have fixed the prices of 17 basic food items for the remainder of the year to ease the pressure of rising food prices on consumers, reported Gulf News. The items include wheat, flour, canned tomatoes, mushrooms and cooking oils and are over and above those items which have been fixed for Ramadan in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy.
