Warner Peck joins Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, as Director of Events

Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, today announced the appointment of Warner Peck as Director of Events Management, responsible for driving all activities that aim to maximise revenue for rooms and function rooms, particularly for groups.

Warner will focus on the entire Qaryat Al Beri complex, including Shangri-La Hotel, Shangri-La Residences, and six luxury villas.

Warner brings ten years hospitality experience to Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi, having worked for international hospitality companies including Starwood and Walt Disney World Resort. Most recently, Warner was Director of Convention Service Managers at the International Plaza Resort and Spa in Orlando, Florida.

An American national, Warner holds a BA degree majoring in Communication from Denison University, Ohio.

Hong Kong-based Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts currently owns and/or manages 55 hotels under Shangri-La and Traders brands with a rooms inventory of over 27,000. Shangri-La hotels are five-star deluxe properties featuring extensive luxury facilities and services. Shangri-La hotels are located in Australia, mainland China, Fiji, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Sultanate of Oman, Taiwan, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates.
