The first session was held in Dubai with a second session planned in the next few months.
All the trainees would be trained by qualified & certified trainers on the partners' own demo equipment, providing practical hands-on experience.
Both Avaya and Aptec are encouraging interested channel partners to register with Aptec and book their demo units for the training sessions.
Khalid Khan, SMB Manager at Avaya MENA, said, 'Avaya emphasizes the importance of technically certified resources at resellers so that they can fully support end users on pre-sales and post-sales. Aptec plays a key role in expanding its business and partner base for the SMB range of products in the GCC markets (except Saudi Arabia & Bahrain).'
Aptec recently expanded its Avaya team to offer channel partners with pre-sales support, proof of concepts and technical trainings.
