Jordinvest supports Tkiyet Um Ali's Ramadan campaign

The campaign will provide for the needs of the less fortunate by distributing Iftar meals to 130,000 people living in the Kingdom's various districts. The campaign also aims to meet the nutrition needs of underprivileged families throughout the month of Ramadan by distributing food parcels to 5000 families.

This partnership comes in line with Tkiyet Um Ali's endeavors to strengthen its relationship with private institutions and build channels of cooperation between the different sectors of society. Furthermore, it accommodates Jordinvest's wish to nurture social solidarity and stress the importance of providing families with assistance to ease their economic burdens.

Ahmad Tantash, Chief Executive Officer of Jordinvest, and Ehab Al-Deeb, General Manager of Tkiyet Um Ali, have signed a cooperation agreement by virtue of which Jordinvest will cover the expenses of one of the Iftar tents offered by Tkiyet Um Ali in Irbid and will distribute 200 Iftar meals. Moreover, the company will distribute 26 parcels of food to poor families during the holy month.

During the agreement's signing ceremony, Mr. Tantash praised Tkiyet Um Ali for its efforts in combating and eradicating hunger, saying:

Our cooperation reflects our interest in playing a positive and effective role in supporting all segments of our community, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan, in the hopes that these efforts will lead to the reinforcement of social solidarity and unity."

For his part, Mr. Al-Deeb said:

"We are appreciative of the fact that there are socially responsible companies such as Jordinvest. These charitable acts abound in this holy month of Ramadan in response to the needs of the less fortunate, who are unable to provide for their families' basic needs.
