Etihad eyes hotel sector

The CEO of Abu-Dhabi based Etihad Airlines said the carrier is interested in expanding into the hotel business, reported Reuters. Asked if Etihad would take part in mergers and consolidations of airlines, Hogan told the newswire: 'We talk to people in a wide range of areas - we'd like to move into hotels'. Etihad, one of the fastest growing airlines in the world, made its first flight in November 2003 and currently flies to 48 destinations in the Middle East, Europe, North America, Africa and Asia.
