"In the past, Iftar meals cooked and shared between family and friends would be transported among homes by conventional, old-style cooking pots. Nowadays, families are more cost and convenience conscious. As a consequence disposable aluminium containers have increasingly become an indispensable part of the Iftar custom,"
says Haddad.
Demand from restaurants, hotels and retail outlets have also seen a significant surge. With orders being placed well ahead of the start of the holy month, the company can easily mark the growth in sales compared to last year.

"We have drawn inspiration from the spirit and traditions of the holy month and the renowned hospitality of this region to create an attractive and relevant look for our Fun Range," said Haddad.
To further enhance the cooking theme of the aluminum containers, Al Bayader has included a series of collectible recipe cards with Fun aluminium containers to make is easier for families to experience new Iftar dishes throughout the month. Developed exclusively for Al Bayader, the recipes cover a wide range of recipes from the Gulf up to the Levant.
The increase in Ramadan sales is indicative of the significant overall growth of Al Bayader's business over the last year. Through the new Jebel Ali Free Zone facility, the company has further expanded its regional reach and distribution capability leading to a significant increase in exports volume.
The company currently produces and sells a range of more than 1200 innovative packaging and disposable products.
