Besides the corporate check, personal donations from Aldar staff were used in procuring some of the Centre's urgent needs. Aldar team intermingled with the Centre's students.
Mohammed Al Mubarak said:
"As a leading corporate entity, Aldar is duty bound to reach out to all sectors of the society. It is part of our corporate social responsibility to do so. Naturally, people with special needs rank high in our list and we will do our utmost to help them become proactive community members."
Al Faheem praised Aldar's gesture as a demonstration of its commitment to society.
"The support we receive from various institutions is instrumental in helping us in catering to the needs of those students and helping them realize their best potentials,"
Al Faheem said.
The Future Centre for Special Needs, today serving more than 180 students, has touched the lives of many students and their families. Over 40 of the Centre's students have already joined regular, mainstream education, while some graduates have got jobs in the public and private sectors.
