Man gets jail time for bomb hoax

A Briton who caused a bomb hoax on an Emirates Flight in July has been sentenced to four months in jail, followed by 
deportation. The Dubai Criminal Court of First Instance convicted Mark Winter one week after the trial began following his request of a swift verdict. He was found guilty of jeopardizing the safety of the plane. He was also found guilty of assault charges. Winter had pleaded not guilty to attacking a passenger and assaulting a flight attendant, but admitted to drinking alcohol.
