Leading science company contributes to improving Egyptian education

DuPont, the internationally-renowned science company, continues to showcase its commitment to Egypt's education and community development by sponsoring the 2008/09 Young Innovators Award project (YIA), organized by local NGO, Nahdet El Mahrousa.
The YIA's main aim is to support local universities by ensuring that their research agenda is aligned with the market's needs and by providing students from engineering and agriculture faculties the opportunity to work and implement up-to-date projects.
An important goal of the YIA is to offer graduating students better access to training, funding, information, equipment, and supplies allowing them to deliver an outstanding research project in their respective universities.
DuPont will also participate in the nomination of the finalists for the awards, with whom they will have the opportunity to work to establish an interactive and beneficial relationship.
The YIA sponsorship furthers the global company's drive to create sustainable solutions essential to a better, safer, and healthier life for people everywhere.
