She added that this service is offered free of cost once the customer arrives at the Main Customer Service Center at Umm Ramool; where the concerned employee would receive the vehicle and drive it safely to the specified parking slot.
On other hand, the RTA recently held an educative health event focusing on healthy weight and its effects on human, with a view to enlighten the community during the month of Ramadan.
Laila bin Hareb said that the health event was held in association with Dubai Health Authority and Medicine Shop at the Main Customer Service Center under the theme: A Healthy Ramadan. The event offered checking of weight, blood pressure and carbon dioxide for smokers.
"During the event, a dietary specialist offered guidance and tips about maintaining a healthy body during the month of Ramadan. Leaflets distributed during the event covered wide range of related topics such as fasting & health, for a better health, body mass and healthy life patterns guide, prevention of heart diseases, and your health in Ramadan. During the event a Moslem scholar attended to queries raised by customers regarding various religious matters" she added.
At the end of the even, Ahlam Al Feel, Deputy Director of Customer Service Center Dep't and Manager of the Main Customer Service Center thanked Dr. Mansoor Al Attar from Dubai Health Authority for contributing to the success of this event.
"The event establishes a communication links between the RTA and Dubai Health Authority, and we will be looking for permanent cooperation with them in future"
added Ahlam.
