RTA holds intensive training on DGEP and Radar Logic

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) organized an intensive training programme for RTA departments featuring concepts and standards of Dubai Government Excellence Programme (DGEP) and Radar Logic methodology in a bid to promote the capabilities of various departments in enhancing excellent performance.

The intensive training course held by the RTA comes in the context of RTA efforts to promote the culture of excellence in corporate performance and step up RTA preparedness for the excellence drive, said Abdul Mohsen Ibrahim Younes, CEO of RTA Strategy and Corporate Governance.

Younes said:
"RTA opted to hold this training programme with a view to further the technical skills and knowledge at all categories and levels across RTA sectors, agencies and departments on the concepts and principles of excellence, as per concepts and standards of DGEP and Radar Logic as far as corporate evaluation is concerned."


Younes added, "Development and Corporate Performance Department at RTA Strategy and Corporate Governance Sector is undertaking this training programme targeting various RTA departments. The Department will attend to regular performance evaluation at later on."

"Through this training programme RTA is seeking to realize a number of goals such as explaining the standards and requirements of DGEP form (Distinguished Government Department Category). It will also enable the Dep't to elaborate the evaluation methodology based on the standards of the Programme using Radar Logic evaluation methodology, and inculcate the participating categories with the skills needed for self-evaluation teams at the corporate level," added Younes.

"The training programme also seeks to develop a common conception among all participating categories of the requirements of effective implementation of excellence standards. it also intends to prepare and foster the competency of various employee categories in the field of quality and excellence across RTA sectors, agencies and departments in a way to meet goals and objectives of the programme," he concluded.
