The utility company has taken Platinum Sponsorship for this second biennial event that will be held from 22-24 February 2003 and is expected to attract more than 400 international students from over 70 countries.

Higher Colleges of Technology has been a pioneer in the implementation of online learning with every course operated by its colleges and campuses across the UAE featuring some element of e-learning.
The organizing committee for the conference has developed a sponsorship pack that is now being distributed to companies and organizations throughout the UAE offering various levels of support. Opportunities to become a partner for the conference range from Platinum sponsor level through Gold, Silver and Bronze to Associate Sponsor.
Benefits to sponsors include naming rights to awards at the conference, use of their logos on promotional literature and materials, attendance at the opening event, gala dinner, and the conference itself.
A number of other major organizations have already shown their interest and support in sponsoring the event and details of these companies will be announced shortly.
Keynote speakers at the conference include Dr Edward de Bono, widely regarded as the world's leading authority on constructive thinking; NASA astronaut and physician Dr Bernard Harris; and Ms Liz Mohn, Supervisory Board member of Bertelsmann AG.
The three-day conference will be held in the Federal National Council building in Abu Dhabi and will include a spectacular opening ceremony and gala dinner for participants on 22 February. A number of special awards will be presented by HE Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahayan to students judged to have given outstanding papers during the conference.
