Boeing appoints Fakher Daghestani as Middle East communications director

Boeing announced today the appointment of Fakher Daghestani as its director of corporate communications for the Middle East.

In this role, Fakher will develop Boeing's regional communications strategies and engage with key stakeholders in support of the company's growing presence and business objectives across the Middle East. He will be based at the Boeing Middle East head office in the Dubai Airport Free Zone.

"The region contains critical markets for us and communications plays a key role in furthering positive relationships and brand presence,"


said Paul Kinscherff, President of Boeing Middle East.

"We are very pleased to bring his18 years of local experience with numerous premier companies to the benefit of Boeing and its key constituencies."

Ahmed Jazzar, President of Boeing Saudi Arabia, added:"Boeing has decades of presence and experience in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East as a whole.

We look forward to Fakher's communications leadership as we sustain and deepen our long-term relationships and effectively communicate Boeing to the region."

For the past eight years Fakher was senior regional operations director with the Middle East's largest PR agency, ASDA'A, where he successfully managed numerous public relations campaigns.

Previously, he worked for six years at Intermarkets Public Relations and also as a journalist with Al Khaleej and Sharjah Television in the UAE.Fakher holds a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from the College of Arts and Human Sciences, in Homs - Syria.
