Osamu Miura, Managing Director of Sony Gulf FZE congratulated the entire team of the showroom for their outstanding performance and constant improvement.

"Over the course of the lat year, Sony Gulf has initiated new projects and embarked on a focused strategy with the objective of improving our merchandising approach in shop fronts,"

shared Mr. Nazar Najarian, General Manager of Modern Home.

"And though the primary focus of the initiative is product presentation, it also tackles the very important areas of excellence in customer service, solution selling and reinforcing Sony's claim as the providers of the finest electronic goods in the country." He added: "At the end of the day all our efforts naturally show themselves in the bottom line."

As indeed they do. Revamped displays for various Sony products such as the best selling Bravia LCD TVs, Cybershot and Handycam Cameras, combined with techniques for better customer interaction have led to double-digit growth for Sony products in 51 East in 2007 as well as 2008. "Our focus on efficiency and more importantly, consistency in our interaction with customers has made a big difference," said Mr. Najarian.

Modern Home is one of Qatar's oldest and most prominent luxury retail chains, catering to an elite audience with fine tastes. It carries such prestigious consumer brands as Rolex, Chanel, Givenchy, Brioni, Bally, Sony, Bose and Apple among others.
