Empire Aviation Group appoints Fahd Travels as Qatar Representative Sales Agent

Under the new agreement, Fahd Travels will represent Empire Aviation Group in Qatar and will become one of the channels for marketing private jet charter services in the country. The agreement was signed recently by Mr Paras Dhamecha, Executive Director of Empire Aviation Group, and Mr Fahd Al-Darwish, Managing Director of Fahd Travels.

Speaking at the signing of the agreement, Mr Paras Dhamecha, Executive Director of Empire Aviation Group, commented:

"This agreement with Fahd Travels is the second RSA agreement we have signed - the first was with Luxury Travel by Dnata, in 2008 - and marks our first step towards creating a new regional business presence for the company across the Middle East and beyond. We are actively looking to extend this network within the GCC, before the end of 2008. Fahd Travels has a long and distinguished business track record in aviation and we are delighted to be working with them in Qatar, which is an increasingly important market for private aviation services, such as executive jet charter."

Fahd Travels has been an innovator and an integral part of the travel industry in Qatar for more than 50 years, and has an extensive track record in the airline industry. Today, the company represents many of the world's major airlines in Qatar focusing on airline reservations and ticketing, and customer service.

Mr Fahd Al-Darwish, Managing Director of Fahd Travels and who comes from a family with a strong interest in - and passion for - aviation, added:

Empire Aviation Group currently manages a fleet of seven aircraft, six of which are available for charter, having added three new aircraft to its Dubai-based fleet in 2008. The company expects the fleet grow to 10 aircraft by the end of 2008, based on the very strong performance of its aircraft sales division. The fleet consists of aircraft from every major business jet manufacturer, as Empire Aviation Group grows rapidly within the expanding regional market for private aviation, offering sales, management, operations and charter services.
