Burgan Bank celebrates Qerqean with KACCH and orphanage

Burgan Bank celebrated 'Qerqean' - the customary distribution of sweets - with the patients of Amiri Hospital's pediatric ward and children at the 'Dar Al Aitam' (orphanage).

The Bank's Public relations visited the Hospital and the Orphanage with traditional Qerqean confectionery and gifts, in continuation of the Bank's support of the Kuwait Association for Care of Children in Hospitals (KACCH).

"Promoting cultural heritage and supporting the welfare of children have always been key focus areas of our Corporate Citizenship framework,"

explains the Bank's Chief Marketing Officer Mr. Fadi Matar.

"I commend the work that KACCH has been relentlessly doing. Nothing can compare to bringing joy to children; they are the country's future. We're glad to have celebrated Qerqean with our young citizens." he added.

Over the past years, Burgan Bank's continual contributions have significantly supported the development of healthcare and pediatric facilities in over six hospitals, which are part of the KACCH, often helping children, and their families fund the treatment and recovery from fatal illnesses. The Bank's relentless efforts have also been recognized by the Ministry of Social Affairs and other key organizations in Kuwait for its contribution.
