'Working with the community and encouraging participation in sports is an important part of our programme, and our mission is to extend this philosophy to children of all abilities,'
said Andy Dixon, Head Coach, MUSS Dubai.
'Ramadan is a time for giving and thinking of others and our visit to the centre was very rewarding,' added Dixon.
As part of the MUSS Ramadan initiative, Head Coach Andy Dixon brought smiles to the faces of over 50 children, teaching them basic football skills based on Manchester United Soccer Schools' unique teaching philosophy.
In addition to the football activities, each child was given a gift bag and the Centre was presented with a football shirt signed by former Manchester United Goalkeeping legend Peter Schmeichel.
Being a non profit charitable organization, the Centre relies heavily on the kindness and generosity of individuals and companies throughout the community for financial aid and other support services.
Mariam Osman, Director at Rashid Pediatric Therapy Centre, said:
'Having Dubai Sports City and MUSS contribute to the development of the children at Rashid Pediatric Centre was a great success and we hope their involvement encourages other organizations to take part in Dubai's community.'
