"Launching this service is part of a plan to upgrade e-services and provide fast access to databases in a highly accurate manner. The new webpage covers all matters of concern to QHSE and offers downloadable booklets and manuals of Public Transport Agency, with a view to spreading this culture among employees in Arabic & English and enabling them to derive maximum benefits" said Zuhair Al-Saffar, Senior Director QHSE Office at RTA Public Transport Agency.

"The attention paid to QHSE matters has become an important aspect upon which the business of many organizations is based and an essential requirement that ought to be well known to all parties. Public Transport Agency will therefore attend to updating this webpage regularly such that it will be an active communication link between all employees of the Agency, who have to be well aware of the latest developments of QHSE at the level of RTA Public Transport Agency.

Uploading QHSE webpage is envisaged to be completed over two main phases. The first one is to link up with the Intranet of Public Transport Agency to explain all matters relevant to QHSE. This covers providing educative materials to raise the awareness level, highlighting guidance & policies adopted by Public Transport Agency, and ensuring inflow of information between all employees of Public Transport Agency.

Following completion of this phase, which is likely to be made within one month, preparations will start for the second phase; which is a broadly-based step to integrate with the main portal of the RTA. Upgrading the webpage of the Agency is an ongoing process; which is quite natural in view of the constantly updated and modernized electronic technologies. We have to keep pace with the electronic drive, take a leading position and be an integral part of Dubai e-Government and the e-city of Dubai.
