Three cars on auction at Sahara Centre Ramadan Charity Auction

In line with observing the core essence of Ramadan and while reiterating the concept of giving, Sahara Centre, the leading family shopping and entertainment destination in the UAE and one of Sharjah's prominent landmarks, has re-organised the Sahara Ramadan Charity Auction.

This year three cars - Optra, Aveo and Epica - will be auctioned in the mall on Thursday 25th Sep at 9 pm.

Adding further excitement and festivity while shopping at Sahara Centre, a Hummer H2 SUT is also up for grabs at a raffle draw. Customers spending specific amount of money at any outlet in Sahara Centre are entitled to enter the raffle. The raffle draw will be held on 10th October at 8 pm time in the mall.

Moving further, as a testimony to the exciting and eventful activities, the mall has marked a 35% increase in sales with the commencement of the Ramadan promotions that began during the first week of September.

"We aim to offer our customers a pure blend of exciting shopping and generous donations. We are delighted that our Ramadan promotions are attracting so many families and youngsters already. This year, we have re-introduced the Ramadan Charity Auction which proceeds will go to the Sharjah Charity International, a local organization that assist people in need. We urge all our visitors to participate in this auction and win the cars while donating for a noble cause,"

said Jean Pierre Nammour, Managing Director of Sahara Centre.

He further added, "All our promotions during Ramadan aim to cater to the needy and signify a mark of progress in building and serving the society."

The mall has witnessed a great response from its customers due to a variety of value added customer offers, discounts up to 70% from selected outlets and exciting bargains in various stores.

Commenting on the auction and the increase in sales, Rima Chammas, Marketing Manager, Sahara Centre, said:
"What a way to contribute to a noble cause than charity? The Sahara Ramadan Charity Auction complements the sanctity of the holy month of Ramadan. This year, we have three cars on auction. We are positive that all our customers and visitors will participate actively in the upcoming charity auction."


She further added, "Our exciting and genuine offers are truly a treat to the customers. All our promotions are designed to provide customers with lucrative bargains. We are expecting a further increase in sales towards the end of our Ramadan promotion."

Sahara Centre is promoting activities for the needy children. Following every Ramadan's contribution to the society, this year's campaign revolves around 'Spreading the light of happiness'. The campaign revolves around fulfilling 30 to 40 wishes from needy children that are enclosed in an envelope and placed in the promotion area, on the 1st level in the mall.
