Other good deeds included the Al Yusr tent, where more than 150 Muslims break their fast daily, celebration of Garangaou with children at the Shafalah Center, and a donation drive at the bank. A team of IBQ staff volunteers are stepping up to the challenges of managing and organizing all the work it takes to make these projects a reality.
Mr. Mohammed Al Noimi, Executive Director of Marketing and Public Relations of Hamad Hospital said:
"we would like to extend our gratitude to IBQ for sharing the joy of Eid Al Fitr with the children. This clearly demonstrates IBQ's commitment to provide moral support to the sick children during this festive season".
IBQ Deputy General Manager, Muhannad Kamal, said, "IBQ is committed to play an active role in the community and to participate in social activities that bring joy to those that are less fortunate. The main aim of our "Do Good Deeds in Ramadan' campaign is to encourage our staff to volunteer their time to serve the community especially during the month of giving. We wanted to make Eid Al Fitr extra special and draw a smile on the faces of the children at Hamad Hospital."
