- Saudi Arabia: Wednesday, September 24 - 2008 at 11:01
- PRESS RELEASE
Following the overwhelming success of the Saudi Gulf Luxury Trade Fair held at London's InterContinental Hotel in Park Lane on August 2nd and 3rd 2008, the organisers are pleased to announce the dates for the 2009 event that will now be named 'Gulf Luxury Fair'.
The mezzanine floor of InterContinental London Park Lane once again will be the location for approximately 60 luxury brands and business companies.
The Arab British Chamber of Commerce and the City of London's Conduit Capital Liquid Funds will continue to be partners for the 2009 fair.
Over three thousand visitors attended the 2008 August fair, and many high profile Gulf business people and members of Royal families, senior sheiks etc were spotted visiting the first annual event.
The organisers have now modified the name of the event to Gulf Luxury Fair, in order to completely embrace companies and visitors from the entire Gulf region.
A spokesman for the Gulf Luxury Fair says, "We are absolutely delighted with the outcome of this first year, which proved to be more successful than we envisaged. The visitors loved the luxury environment, the brands and companies who took part. The business side of the fair was also very successful for the banks, investment and property development companies."
The spokesman continues "We have already received enquires from around 40 companies wanting to take part in the 2009 Gulf Luxury Fair. There are also plans to stage the fair at InterContinental Paris Le Grand in the very near future."
