We see this as an essential communication tool in the modern age. The online portal has been designed to be a highly user-friendly key to access Dubai World with ease and get to understand it better. The Dubai World Media Centre is also an effective channel to promote our Group's activities among the public."
The one-stop online newsroom, simultaneously launched in Arabic and English, is Dubai World's answer to the rising need for a comprehensive information hub that would provide credible, current news about the Group's vast multi-faceted activities across five continents.
The site, in which high-end web design tools have been used in its creation, will be constantly updated and upgraded to keep users posted on the latest developments within the Group.
The Media Centre draws on the resources of the entire Dubai World family. There are easily navigable links to strategic industrial sectors of the Group, such
as Transport & Logistics, Drydocks & Maritime, Urban Development and Investment & Financial Services. Business units in each sector have separate pages and all companies are featured under regions where they operate, with news related to their activities in those regions.
