The Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) agreed to allow the EIDA the use of their Tolitola centre as a location for issuing identity cards to all residents employed in the education sector in Dubai. The agreement comes into effect after Eid and the centre will be open from 7.30am to 2.30pm, with a lunch break.

HE Fatma Al Marri, the CEO of the School Agency, met with HE Mohamed Al Khaili, CEO of EIDA registration centres to finalise the agreement. The aim of the co-operation is to facilitate the ID card registration process for everyone employed in the education field irrespective of their nationality and whether they are employed in private or public education.

EIDA will ensure that the staff and the equipment required for the registration process is made available. Applicants will be required to pay registration charges as stipulated by EIDA. The centre will provide the same service for the general public later in the year, becoming a regular centre for EIDA.
