This customized materials solution is especially designed to optimize inventory management and reduce customer overhead cost for replacement parts and warehousing facilities, thus guaranteeing the maximum operational reliability of the airplanes.

Leandro Laia, Embraer Vice President, Customer Support and Services - Europe, Africa and the Middle East, said:
"We have developed a great partnership since the first Embraer 195 joined the program, and it is an honor to support Royal Jordanian's daily operations with this solution."

Laia said, "Our pool program brings complete flexibility to Royal Jordanian Airlines and other customers, by constantly improving the service level, allowing them to remain competitive."

The existing contract covers all five Embraer 195 and, now, two Embraer 175 jets operated by Royal Jordanian Airlines. The Parts Pool Program provides the airline with quick spare parts replacement and a greatly reduced need for warehousing facilities and inventory management expenses, thus increasing the ability to budget expenses.

Samer Majali, President and CEO, Royal Jordanian Airlines, said:
"Embraer has proven that its aviation service solutions are succeeding in developing an optimized pool program, meeting our expectations for the support of the Embraer 195. It is natural for us to now include the upcoming Embraer 175 in this Embraer Parts Pool Program."
