The display stand was constructed as part of the joint campaign by Pampers and UNICEF in which vaccines are being raised to battle maternal and newborn tetanus.

The 1 large pack = 1 vaccine campaign which sees Pampers donate one tetanus vaccine for every purchase of any large pampers pack runs from August through September and has a target of 4 million vaccines to be raised. This world record attempt is just the latest initiative by Pampers and UNICEF to reach their goal of raising vaccinations in the quest to eliminate maternal and newborn tetanus, both completely preventable diseases.

It took over 12,000 packs of Pampers to construct this incredible feat with the packs included in this display representing 12,000 tetanus vaccines to be donated to UNICEF. The record for largest display stand was previously set in Slovenia in 2008 by constructing a 120 cubic meter display stand made completely out of packets of washing powder. However this great feat proved to be no match for the dedicated Pampers/UNICEF campaign which has constructed a 269 cubic meter display. This record setting attempt will be verified by the Guinness Book of World Records as will earn the title of "The biggest display to help protect babies' lives.

At Pampers, we are committed to the health and well-being of every baby and the 1 Large Pack = 1 Vaccine campaign gives us the opportunity to not only help, but save lives. This display stands represents the dedications that we at Pampers have put into this noble cause in which we are aiming to eliminate this totally preventable disease.. Said Karim Kamel, Associate Marketing Director, Procter and Gamble, Babycare, Arabian Peninsula.
