Xerox Senior VPs will be attending the show this year, underscoring the growing importance of this region, and Gitex 2008 as a key industry forum to attend. Visitors to the show will get a closer look at Xerox's new & extensive range of advanced and affordable innovative printing solutions ranging from digital multifunction systems, monochrome laser printers, colour laser printers, digital scanners, network printers and workgroup fax machines to printers for consumers at a competitive & affordable price.
Xerox Printing solutions which will be launched & showcased at Gitex 08 will include:
- True green printing: The Xerox Phaser 8560, colour laser printer, with the revolutionary Solid Ink technology which is unique for Xerox, small in size printer that gives offices amazing and powerful features without affecting the environment.
- The WorkCentre 7600 series, an advanced colour multifunction system is Xerox newest and fastest products that print, copy, scan and fax while leveraging the company's Extensible Interface Platform (EIP). This new WorkCentre system combined with EIP represents a new era for the multifunction system. It shatters the perception that an office MFP is just a piece of hardware. The system adapts to the way you work - instead of the other way around.

- The Phaser 6115 MFP designed to help businesses of all sizes increase efficiency and productivity. This new Xerox printer packs print, copy, fax and colour-scanning features into a compact device that is inexpensive and easy to use with features that make it more secure and colorful.
Xerox will be also demonstrating live on their stand innovative software applications that can be integrated with Xerox MFPs to empower the modern office across different industry verticals (Retail Health, Legal, Finance, Government) such as:
- Xerox Extensible Interface Platform (EIP) - with the EIP your Xerox Multifunction Printer can adopt to fit the way you work, not the other way around. EIP is a software platform upon which developers can use standard web-based tools to create server-based application that can be configured for the MFP's touch-screen user interface.
- Xerox Scan-to-PC-Desktop - Xerox scan to PC Desktop allows you to scan hard copy documents to electronic form and automatically routes these files to your desktop, email or network folder.
- Xerox Docushare - an easy to use, secure, Web-based document and enterprise content management (ECM) application that enables users to capture, manage, retrieve, and distribute information easily, regardless of skill-level or location.
