Morgan Stanley further expands MENA Private Wealth Management

Morgan Stanley announced the appointment of Hani Nabulsi, Mohammed Odeh and Nadim Shabsogh as Executive Directors and Investment Advisers in its Dubai-based Private Wealth Management ("PWM") team.

Al-Nabulsi and Odeh both join from Credit Suisse in Dubai, where they were jointly responsible for leading a UAE private banking coverage team. Shabsogh joins from Bear Stearns in London, where he had responsibility for Middle East private client relationships.

All three will report to Ausaf Abbas, Head of Sales and Marketing for PWM in EMEA.

Commenting on the appointments, Mr. Abbas said,

"As we continue to grow our successful Private Wealth Management business in the MENA region, we are very pleased to welcome Hani, Mohammed and Nadim to the team. The three have a long track record of success in the region and bring considerable wealth management expertise to the Firm."


Al Nabulsi and Odeh will focus on ultra high net worth clients and family offices in the UAE while Shabsogh will focus on the same segment in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait. All three have experience of managing large and complex product portfolios across multiple markets for their clients.

Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Nabulsi and Odeh worked for Salomon Smith Barney and Merrill Lynch in New York and Dubai.

Nabulsi is a graduate of the Bowling Green State University (BGSU), U.S. State of Ohio, while Odeh holds a degree in Business Management from Ajman University, UAE.

Prior to joining Bear Stearns, Shabsogh worked at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette and Credit Suisse First Boston in London.

He holds a BSc in Civil Engineering from London University and a MBA from the University of Nottingham
