16th edition of Middle East's largest 'Sign and Graphic' show inaugurated in Dubai

'Sign and Graphics Imaging Middle East' (SGI 2013), Middle East's largest sign and graphic imaging show was officially inaugurated by H.E. Muna Almarri, Director General of the Media Office of Dubai Government, Mr. Abdul Rahman Falaknaz; Chairman of IEC and Mr.Sharif Rahman, CEO, IEC were present among other senior industry officials and delegates during the inauguration of the 16th edition of the show. This is an official 'Dubai Shopping Festival 2013' event. IEC is also the Dubai EXPO2020 bid supporter.
Falak Holding, one of UAE's leading business conglomerates welcomed over 400 exhibitors from across 30 countries during the show. International Expo Consults (IEC) subsidiary of Falak Holding is the main organiser of this event. The show is being held from January 20th to 22nd in Hall 1 in addition to the large Zabeel Halls 1, 2 and 3 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
Mr. Abdul Rahman Falaknaz; Chairman of IEC stated that, "We are delighted to inaugurate yet another show and this edition is larger than the previous ones. SGI 2013 will showcase state-of-the- art large format printers from major players from across the globe in addition to POP/POS, Substrates, ink and the CNC/laser machines. This show will also include seminars and workshops conducted by industry experts and it is also a great networking opportunity for industry professionals.
SGI show is expected to attract more than 10000 trade visitors during these three days. IEC is expecting people from the region and also globally from across the GCC as Africa, the Sub Continent, Europe, Asia, CIS States, USA among other geographies to attend the show. SGI is one of the most anticipated events of the year in the region for exhibitors and visitors in the signage, outdoor media, screen and digital printing industries.
