Mall of the Emirates to expand

The Mall of the Emirates in Dubai will undergo its largest expansion programme with just under Dhs500m ($136m) to be invested in new space. The expansion will include more areas for retailers and other service providers, a direct link for Dubai Metro commuters, and increased parking to accommodate 750 vehicles. The expansion was announced on Sunday by the Majid Al Futtaim (MAF) Group, which operates the mall.
