  • PRESS RELEASE

Globex Business Centres has recently announced its selection of the United Nations Foundation as its Recipient of Middle East, Africa and Asia Corporate Support.

Ms. Lorraine Davidson, Director of Corporate Communications of Globex, stated:
"As a provider of serviced offices solutions, Globex Business Centres Inc. sees itself not only as an economic entity but also as a part of society. This is why we embrace corporate social responsibility and have endorsed one truly world-class and transparent charity as our primary recipient of support - the United Nations Foundation."

The United Nations Foundation has identified four (4) areas in which donors can help to strengthen and support: Children's Health; the Environment; Women and Population; and Peace, Security and Human Rights.

Ms. Davidson added, "An important contributing factor leading to our selection of the UN Foundation was that fact that a significant percentage of the funds collected by the Foundation are distributed in the Middle-East, Africa, and Asia (MEAA) Region. Consequently, the Board of Directors has enshrined in the Globex corporate charter a commitment to contribute up to 10% of the annual pre-tax profits of Globex to the United Nations Foundation."
