Egypt says kidnapped tourists freed

Eleven European tourists and eight Egyptian guides kidnapped in Egypt 10 days ago have been freed and are in good condition, the government said. The hostages were on their way back to Cairo, state-owned Nile Television and Italian officials reported. There were no immediate details on how the captives were released.
