Jazeera Airways to hand out $1m in KD5 golden ticket vouchers during Eid

Jazeera Airways has announced that it will be giving away a gigantic $1m in vouchers to passengers, in celebration of the Eid Al-Fitr holiday.

Each passenger travelling on any of the airline's routes for a five-day period between September the 30th and October the 4th 2008 will receive one of 50,000 golden ticket vouchers worth KD5!

The vouchers can be used to book flights online at jazeeraairways.com before 10th October 2008.

Tickets on all 26 of Jazeera Airways' non-stop routes, including hot flights to Cyprus and Istanbul, as well as flights to Beirut, Alexandria, Mumbai and Sana'a, and all other destinations - in either the economy or Jazeera Plus cabin - can be booked using the 5KD golden ticket Eid voucher.

Jazeera Airways' Chairman and CEO, Marwan Boodai commented; "The Eid Al-Fitr holiday is a time for celebration and relaxation, and is a perfect time for passengers in the region to spend time to visit family and friends."

"We wanted to make the holiday even more special through our promotion, and give the region's passengers even more freedom to fly, and more reason to celebrate. In addition to our existing low-fares and great in-flight service, this really is an opportunity that can't be missed," he added.

Jazeera Airways currently operates a fleet of six new Airbus A320s from its two hubs in Kuwait and Dubai. Each aircraft is fitted with the airline's signature leather seating, while the Jazeera Plus (J+) cabin offers business travellers the highest standards of comfort, relaxation and a range of in flight amenities. The airline flies to destinations in the Middle East, North Africa, Europe, Iran, and the Indian subcontinent.
