The premier imaging technology event saw Canon Middle East representatives from markets as diverse as Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Morocco converge in Germany to exchange market insights, provide valuable feedback on the latest product developments and discuss the development of channels.

"Canon's success in the MENA region has been built on a number of factors, not least of all the relationship we have with our partners. We are committed to developing channel relations across the region and Photokina 2008 provides the perfect platform to do this,"

said Mr. Anurag Agrawal, CCI Director, Canon Middle East.

In addition to taking partners to Photokina 2008, Canon Middle East ran a tailor made seminar which included upcoming Canon product launches and sales and marketing strategies for the region.

Canon's partners saw cutting edge imaging technology showcased at this year's event with keynote speeches delivered by leading digital imaging industry insiders.

"Canon's presence at the world's foremost imaging technology fair further reinforces its position as the world leading innovator of imaging products and solutions. Photokina is one of the most important events in the imaging technology diary and offers the ideal opportunity to interact with Canon's front line sales force," concluded Mr. Hendrik Verbrugghe, CCI Marketing Manager, Canon Middle East.

This year's Photokina partner event was the latest in an ongoing schedule of events designed to support Canon's partners and provide a greater understanding of Canon's imaging products.

The Photokina show is held every two years and according to forecasts, this year approximately 160,000 visitors from 140 countries attended the Photokina 2008.
