Limitless to showcase 11 developments at Cityscape Dubai
- United Arab Emirates: Thursday, October 02 - 2008 at 17:00
- PRESS RELEASE
Limitless has more than doubled its global project portfolio in the last year, and will showcase 11 developments, worth nearly $110bn, at Cityscape Dubai 2008, compared to five at the 2007 event, the company announced today.
Nine others - spanning 20,000 hectares and providing homes for more than three million people - will also be on show, along with a host of interactive attractions that reflect the Limitless vision: to enhance and enrich people's lives by delivering distinctive, sustainable developments.
Saeed Ahmed Saeed, Chief Executive Officer of Limitless, said: "2008 has been a landmark year for Limitless. In the last 12 months, we have entered four new markets, announced six new developments and broken ground on three. We now have 11 international offices and at Cityscape we will demonstrate how we are changing people's lives - globally - with a growing portfolio of tailor made, creative projects, all designed on a human scale, for a better way of life."
Visitors to the Limitless stand (ZJ20) can get a taste of life in its master-planned developments - and help the environment - with a variety of interactive features. They can:
- ride in an eight-seater 'people mover' designed to reduce car use and provide convenient, environmentally-friendly travel in Limitless' large-scale developments. Passengers will take a global journey through Limitless projects, with the people mover's onboard audio-visual display;
- discover a diverse range of real-life experiences with five hi-tech three-dimensional "stereoscopic" pods that see the world through the eyes of a number of people who live and work in Limitless developments;
- see how the Arabian Canal will transform Dubai, with its 75km water way and 14,000 hectare canalside city for 2.5 million people. An 84 square metre model of the project will use light, sound and vision to highlight the region's biggest, most complex civil engineering undertaking, which will be home to new towns, topography, tourist attractions and transport systems;
- explore the world of Limitless with a giant, 27 square metre digital interactive map showing the locations of the company's projects, regions and offices;
- help Limitless to preserve the environment by taking away one of 5,000 electronic brochures, which have been uploaded onto recycled USB sticks, saving some 250 kilograms of paper.
The 11 Limitless projects on display at Cityscape Dubai are: Arabian Canal, Downtown Jebel Ali and World Island Resort (UAE); Rasuna Epicentrum (Indonesi); Sanaya Amman (Jordan); Al Wasl (Saudi Arabia); Khimki Region (Russia); Bidadi (India); Puteri Harbour and Malaysia International Halal Park (Malaysia) and Halong Star (Vietnam).
