Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates donates over 10,000 domestic and clothing items to Red Crescent

During the Holy month of Ramadan, staff at Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates have been busy collecting an assortment of domestic and clothing items to be donated to the 'Make a Difference this Ramadan' campaign, which was hosted by four of the UAE's most popular shopping malls in the MAF portfolio.

Over 10,000 items, featuring many items from the hotel's lost and found department made the important journey to the Galleria in Mall of the Emirates on September 25th, in a presentation by Karen Thorburn, the hotels' Human Resources Director.

'As part of the hotel's ongoing charity efforts, we are thrilled to contribute to this Ramadan campaign at Mall of the Emirates in association with the Red Crescent'



said Holger Schroth, General Manager Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates.

'Our Humans Resources Director and Housekeeping Manager, along with many staff have worked tirelessly to gather and coordinate thousands of useful items from the hotel, including an abundance of towels, linens and clothing,' continued Schroth.

'We have received so much support from hotel staff and guests. In turn we have been able to make such a sizeable contribution to this poignant appeal which we are proud to be a part of,' said Karen Thornburn Human Resources Director, Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates.
