INX Media's 9X, 9XM now entertaining Middle East

India's INX Media has introduced its two extremely popular channels in the Middle East -- 9X, the mega Hindi General Entertainment Channel, and 9XM, the world's biggest Bollywood Music Channel.

Unlike other Hindi Channels, both 9X and 9XM channels are available on free-to-air basis and are tunable on existing Nilesat installations which include: Pehla DTH subscribers and all other Nilesat free-to-air installations.

Commenting on the launch of 9X and 9XM in the Middle East, Indrani Mukerjea, Founder & CEO, INX Media, said:

9X and 9XM are now available across the GCC countries, Levant region, other Middle Eastern countries and North Africa. They are available in the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Kingdom of Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and Qatar in the GCC and Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Palestine in the Levant region, while Yemen, Iraq, Iran and Palestine are other places in the Middle East where 9X and 9XM are available. In North Africa, the INX Media channels are available in Egypt, Sudan, Ethiopia and Somalia.

Altaf Alimohamed, Managing Director, Media Solutions, which has been appointed by INX Media to spearhead its push in the region, said:
