KEO moves higher in 2008 global rankings

According to a recent survey published by the leading construction magazine Engineering News-Record, KEO has continued its climb in the international rankings.

Engineering News-Record (ENR) recently published the 'Top Firms Lists' in Design and Construction, these annual listings provide firms around the world with benchmark statistics against peers/competitors in the industry. The rankings are based on annual construction revenue and gauge performance in architecture, engineering, construction, infrastructure and related categories.

"KEO's standing in the latest ENR 2008 rankings reflects our continued growth across many market sectors and geographic locations,"


said KEO's CEO, Donna Sultan.

"Our steady climb and numerous industry awards this year has all been about the hard work and dedication of many professionals across every Division in KEO and reflects our valued service to our clients. Sustained growth and increased market presence have helped us secure some of the largest projects in the world.". Sultan continued, "Earlier this year, KEO opened its newest office in the Western Region in the United Arab Emirates and has plans to open later this year an office in Egypt and in India by 2009. This has been an exceptional year for KEO both in terms of its achievements in design, engineering and project management with ENR recognizing KEO as one of the top 10 PM firms globally.

In March KEO accepted the much coveted MIPIM/Architectural Review commended award for the 'South of Shamkha' masterplan. In June, KEO received confirmation of the first pre-certified LEED standard building design in Kuwait.

Established in 1964, the firm's expertise includes planning, architecture, engineering and project and construction management.
