Habtoor Grand Resort & Spa hosts Natalie Tour's 4th Annual Congress 2008 in association with Alpha Tours

Habtoor Grand Resort & Spa hosted the prestigious three day event from 28th until 30th September.

The event was attended by 220 top travel agents out of a network of 7,000 travel agents in Russia.

On the opening day, Ms. Natalia Vorobieva, CEO of Natalie Tours welcomed the guests, followed by brief presentations by Vladimir Vorobiev , General Manager, Natalie Tours, Mr. Ghassan Aridi, CEO Alpha Tours, Mr. Rahim Abu Omar, CEO Habtoor Hotels and Mansour Bawazir, a spokesperson from DTCM.

The 4th Annual Congress was held at the Al Andulus Ballroom and included a press conference that preceded the congress.

The company also shared the final results of the UAE and the Greece tourism season for 2007 & 2008 and announced that there was a 13.5% increase in number of Russian guests in the first six months of this year.

During the afternoon session, Natalie Tours spokespersons discussed the company's future strategies and the new endeavours.

Along with this, major tour plans for the UAE & other destinations and the development of respective markets for 08/09 season were also discussed. The company also announced its latest destination of the season - Dominican Republic.

The focus of the evening was a Q&A session where the queries of the participants were answered followed by a special workshop for the UAE hoteliers held at Al Andalus pre-function area of the Habtoor Grand Resort & Spa.

Overall, the Congress gave the delegates a chance to explore Dubai's strengths and attractions and experience first-hand all its world-class facilities.

It will also facilitate their networking with industry professionals in the UAE in general and Dubai in particular.
