Amlak profit up 157%

Amlak Finance, the largest real estate financier in the Middle East by market value and total assets has reported that its net profit in the first nine months of 2008 rose to Dhs444m ($121m), an increase of 157% compared to Dhs173m for the same period in 2007. Amlak's revenue for the nine months that ended in September 2008 was posted at Dhs963 million, up 112% against the same period in 2007, with the company's property financing activities contributing 71% of the total revenue.
